The seminar "Take PLM to the next level", arranged by Infuseit at Kongsberg August 20th, attracted more than 40 PLM professionals from 18 different companies. While the majority of the participants were from the Kongsberg area, several attendees chose to fly in from other parts of Norway as well as Sweden and Denmark.
Tore Brathaug, Infuseit CEO, is positively surprised by the response. "We thought the seminar would mainly attract a few PLM-specialists from companies based at Kongsberg, but I'm very pleased that it turned out to be a much broader interest in the seminar topic" Brathaug says.
"One of the main takeaways from the seminar, is that companies which may seem very different at first glance, have a lot to learn from each other with repect to PLM", Brathaug continues. "We have already started planning similar events at other locations in Scandinavia, and it is quite likely that the Kongsberg event will be repeated on an annual basis", he conludes.
The participants came from a diverse set of industries, including aerospace and defence, subsea oil & gas, marine engines, hightech and construction. An interesting observation was the fact that among the participating companies all major PLM systems on the market was represented:
- Agile PLM
- Aras Innovator
