Successful event in Copenhagen

The PLM-seminar "Take PLM to the next level" at Hilton Copenhagen Airport, November 26th, turned out to be a very successful event, if we judge by the feedback we have received from the participants.

Around 30 PLM-professionals from all over the Nordics, found their way to Kastrup to learn, share and discuss PLM-related topics across company- and industry boundaries. At this particular event, a variety of industries were represented, as diverse as medical devices, ships equipment, particle physics, toys and wind turbines. From the lively discussions during coffee breaks, it seemed that there was still a lot of common interests in the PLM-domain.

Rikke Ervø, PLM Project Manager at MAN Diesel & Turbo confirms this: "It is very inspiring to speak to others with the same challenges and get ideas for new PLM projects and methods" Ervø says. "I really appreciate the professional way Infuseit organize these kinds of PLM conferences and I will be happy to participate in future similar events", she adds.

"A great event" says Claes Klang, PLM Application Manager at Mycronic. "Most of all, it is interesting to hear about experiences from other companies. As this event was at a smaller scale than the previous one at Kongsberg, the audinece got more involved in the plenary discussions"

Five speakers from different industries shared their experiences from PLM implementation, and gave some good insight to what the main challenges of PLM are, and how to avoid common pitfalls when implementing or expanding a PLM-solution in an organization.

Tore Brathaug, Infuseit CEO, is very pleased with the positive response from the participants: "Our aim is to establish the Infuseit PLM seminars as the main arena for PLM knowledge sharing in the Nordics", he says. "The feedback from our two first seminars, shows that we are on the right track", Brathaug concludes.

The following companies were participating at the seminar: Alfa Laval Corporate, Autoliv Development, European Spallation Source (ESS) AB, FLSmidth, LEGO System, MAN Diesel & Turbo, Marioff Corporation, Medicologic, MT Højgaard,  Mycronic, Mölnlycke Healthcare, National Oilwell Varco, Semco Maritime, TacIT, Tetra Pak, Vestas Wind.
